13:00 - 13:45 - Saturday 10th May - Room 3  - Tai Chi – Where Movement Meets Meditation

Mind & Body Connection with Hatha Yoga

Experience the harmony of mind and body through gentle Hatha Yoga. Engage in soothing asanas (poses) where each movement is seamlessly synchronized with the breath. Learn to truly connect with your body, feeling each sensation and movement with awareness.

The practice concludes with a deeply restorative mindful relaxation (Savasana), leaving you refreshed, grounded, and at peace.

Tai Chi – Where Movement Meets Meditation

Discover the art of Tai Chi, a graceful practice where movement and meditation unite. Through slow and flowing Tai Chi sequences, you’ll learn to move the life force energy (Chi) throughout your body, guiding it into your hands and circulating it around your entire being.

This practice leaves you with a profound sense of calmness, balance, and inner vitality, feeling both deeply relaxed and energetically renewed.

More About Debra Gray

Debra Gray – Yoga & Tai Chi Instructor at Yellow Buddha Yoga

Debs is a passionate and dedicated yoga and Tai Chi instructor with over 30 years of personal yoga practice. A mum to three grown-up children, a proud grandmother to three, and a devoted companion to her lazy old dog, Debs lives a life rooted in balance, mindfulness, and movement.

Her journey as a yoga teacher began when she couldn’t find a class that truly resonated with her, inspiring her to take the leap and train to teach. Through dedication and hard work, Debs has built a career doing what she loves every day—helping her students feel lighter, more balanced, and better in body and mind by the end of each class.

As part of Yellow Buddha, Debs also embraced the opportunity to train as a Tai Chi instructor. She finds immense joy in witnessing her students connect with their energy (Chi), experiencing the warmth and tingling as it flows.

Now teaching both yoga and Tai Chi in and around Halifax, Debs dedicates her time to inspiring others while embracing tranquility. When she’s not teaching, you’ll often find her walking her beloved dog, exploring the Yorkshire Dales, disconnecting from the digital world, and simply breathing.
